Drawings

I have always loved drawing and often find it helps me to be creative. I think when working lots in precious metal, it’s easy to be tense about what I am making, I find a beauty in how frivolous and playful I can be on paper.

There is a continual dialogue between 2D ideas on paper and 3D samples as I am designing. The drawings inform the samples; the samples inform the drawings. These drawings use graphite, pen and pigment on various papers as well as debris from my 3D samples in the form of silver dust and wood shavings.
